Join our client's innovative team, dedicated to supporting business growth and ensuring product safety in the aerospace and aviation industries. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with internal teams to drive the development of our client's software products and complex system life cycle modelling.

You will also provide customers with professional system engineering knowledge. This position requires a solid understanding of aircraft systems, system development, and industry-specific certification processes. Preference will be given to candidates who are EASA/FAA DERs or DER candidates.

Specific Skills
  • At least 15 years of experience in system design, functional decomposition, requirements development, analysis, verification, and validation.
  • At least 10 years of experience working within a regulatory environment (FAA/EASA/CAAC) and airworthiness.
  • At least 10 years of experience with avionics problem-solving and hands-on troubleshooting.
  • Ability to provide training/mentoring to junior engineers.
  • Experience in an engineering leadership role.
  • Systems thinker capable of making engineering proposals based on data analysis and forecasting wide-reaching and longer-term impacts (Desired).
  • Experience in traditional engineering analytical methods and Aerospace/Industry Standards (SAE ARP 4754A/B, SAE ARP 4761/A, RTCA DO-160, RTCA DO-178, RTCA DO-254) (Desired).
  • Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences (Desired).
  • Experience investigating and finding solutions to complex technical or regulatory issues (Desired).
  • Experience developing presentations and presenting to multiple levels of an organisation (Desired).
  • Experience recognising and balancing conflicting priorities (Desired).
  • SAE S-18 or EUROCAE WG-63 member (Desired).
Responsible For
  • Provide customers with assessments and gap analyses according to standards such as SAE ARP4754A/B.
  • Support customer systems engineering efforts in defining requirements and capabilities and leading integration.
  • Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to guide customers to plan, design, develop, and verify complex life cycle balanced systems of systems and system solutions.
  • Provide customers with analyses to optimise the total system of systems and/or system architecture.
  • Provide customers with development, maintenance, and identification of improvements for the planning, organisation, implementation, and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, RIO (Risk/Issues/Opportunity) management, and technology readiness assessment processes.
  • Lead analyses to optimise the total system of systems and/or system architecture for customers.
  • Work with internal teams on System Engineering Process development and modelling.
  • Leverage Model-Based Systems Engineering methods and tools to perform and apply systems engineering methods.
  • Build strong customer relationships and communication.

  • Will travel in China according to the client's needs.
