We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual for this unique dual role. You will provide essential technical expertise in both mechanical and electrical systems related to lifting machinery and bus/train depot equipment. In addition to maintenance and troubleshooting, you will serve as a vital support to the Project Management team, assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of key projects. This position offers a dynamic mix of hands-on technical work and project administration, including regular on-site work in Singapore.

Specific Skills

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles, specifically applied to lifting machinery and depot equipment.
Schematic Mastery: Essential ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams and technical drawings for troubleshooting and repair activities.
Problem Solving: Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to identify root causes and implement effective mechanical/electrical solutions.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required. Proficiency in Mandarin is considered an advantage.

Responsible For

Lifting Machine Equipment Technician (70% Workload):

Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of lifting machine equipment.
Troubleshooting: Resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
Compliance: Ensure all maintenance and project activities comply with safety regulations and company procedures.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, detailed records of equipment status and all maintenance activities performed.
On-site Support: Execute technical work on-site during regular trips to Singapore.

Project Manager Assistant (30% Workload):

Project Planning: Assist project managers in developing project plans, detailed schedules, and budgets.
Progress Tracking: Track project milestones, identify potential delays or issues, and provide timely updates to the project manager.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain essential project documentation, including reports and meeting minutes.
Coordination: Act as a point of contact for vendors, suppliers, and clients under the direction of the project manager.

Additional Requirements

Frequent international travel to Singapore.
