The Reliability Risk Assessment Engineer will focus on the data-driven identification and prediction of quality risks in civil aircraft.

This role involves developing automatic identification technologies for both design and usage quality risks, utilising techniques such as risk source feature vector construction and similarity-based risk source identification.

Specific Skills
  • Knowledge of aviation safety standards (e.g., FAA Part 25).
  • Familiarity with reliability engineering principles.
Responsible For
  • Research and develop automatic identification technology for design quality risks in civil aircraft.  
  • Construct quality and safety risk source feature vectors.  
  • Implement risk source identification technology based on similarity.  
  • Create and apply risk assessment models based on usage quality data.  
  • Develop automatic identification and prediction technology for usage quality risks.
Additional Requirements
  • Proven experience in reliability risk assessment within the aerospace industry.
  • Strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Knowledge of quality and safety risk assessment in aircraft design and usage.
  • Experience with feature vector construction and similarity-based identification techniques.
  • Proficient in programming languages and data analysis tools (e.g. Python, MATLAB).

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
